WyreStorm EX-70-G2

Super-compact HDBaseT extender set capable of transmitting 4K UHD video and HD audio formats up to 35m/115ft of Cat5e cable. Also compatible with HDCP2.2 protected content, the WyreStorm EX-70-G2 has powerful bi-directional pass-through of CEC, IR and RS-232. 2-way PoH means device can be powered from either end for flexible installation options.

We might live in a 4K world, but not every application needs it. Compatible with the latest 4K/60 and 1080p sources alike, the EX-70-G2 delivers whatever content you have, wherever its needed.

2-WAY POH FOR FLEXIBLE INSTALL

No two installs are the same, which is why the EX-70-G2 and all H2 Series extenders can be powered from either TX or RX side for the most convenient and flexible installation imaginable.

SMALL BUT POWERFUL

Weighing in for the featherweight title at just 15mm thick, the EX-70-G2 can be installed just about anywhere, but still packs the punch to deliver video, audio, control and power like a champ.

BIDIRECTIONAL CONTROL WHATEVER THE PROTOCOL

Need to send control signals both up and downstream? The EX-70-G2 has you covered with IR, RS-232 and even CEC signals able to be passed-through, end-to-end bidirectionally for simultaneous source & display control.

  • Supports all high definition resolutions including 4K UHD @30hz 4:4:4 24bit — 4K HDR @24Hz 4:2:0 10bit (BT.2020) – see specifications for details

  • Transmits discreet wide-band bidirectional IR/RS-232 control signals together with HDMI over a single Cat5e/6 cable

  • Supports 2ch PCM and 7.1 multichannel audio up to DTS-X and Dolby Atmos
  • 2-way PoH (Power over HDBaseT™) enables either transmitter or receiver to be remotely powered by the other locally powered so mains power connectivity is not required at both source and display location
