Glossary: REAR SCREEN PROJECTION

The projector is placed in a large cabinet which holds an opaque screen - making the whole system look like a very large t.v. - and projects it's image onto the screen from behind. Most projectors have the ability to mirror the image they produce (flip left to right) in order to work in a rear projection cabinet.
