Glossary: NATIVE RESOLUTION

All pixel based displays have a "native" resolution, which is the number of columns and rows of pixels the display panel has. For example a XGA projector will have a native resolution of 1024 columns by 768 rows. A "TrueHD" home cinema projector will have a resolution of 1920 columns by 1080 lines.
