Glossary: MATRIX SWITCHER
Matrix switchers (or Matrix switches) allow the routing of multiple inputs to multiple outputs. For example, with an 8 by 8 matrix switcher you could have input number 2 going to outputs 2,3 and 4 while input 3 goes to 6,7 and 8 or you could have any input going to all outputs. Note some HDMI matrix switchers are not "true" switchers in that any input can go to any output but not multiple outputs. See our range of matrix switchers.
