The Extron VSW 2VGA A is a compact and economical two input, one output, active switcher for VGA and stereo audio. It allows users to select between two VGA sources with audio and route the selected source to a video output device such as a data monitor or projector. In addition, the VSW 2VGA A provides a buffered local monitor output for input one. Multiple VSW 2VGA A switchers can be daisy-chained using Extron high performance pre-fabricated VGA cable to create a multi-user presentation system.

The VSW 2VGA A switches a variety of Analogue video signals at VGA-QXGA resolutions, including RGBHV, RGBS, RGsB, RGBHVS, and other high resolution computer video signals. Multiple forms of control are provided, including front-panel buttons, contact closure, and auto-input switching. In auto-input switch mode, input sources are selected automatically when the switcher detects an active sync signal, making the VSW 2VGA A ideal for automatic routing and unattended operation.

The VSW 2VGA A is housed in a quarter rack width metal enclosure, and its flexible mounting options make it ideal for integration into conference rooms, classrooms, multimedia production systems, and other high resolution, computer video environments.
