The MLC Plus 84 MK is an easy-to-use, two-gang Ethernet controller that controls common AV functions such as power, input selection, and volume. As part of the new MediaLink Plus Series, the MLC Plus 84 MK is designed with more powerful features and enhanced security. It has nine backlit soft touch buttons, volume control knob, and a variety of ports and inputs, including a remote volume control port for use with select Extron amplifiers. It is Extron's first push-button controller to support Ethernet control of a wide range of AV devices. Power over Ethernet allows the controller to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable. The MLC Plus 84 MK mounts in a two gang MK junction box.

The MLC Plus 84 MK is configured using Extron Global Configurator Plus or Global Configurator Professional software. It also integrates seamlessly with Extron's award-winning GlobalViewer® Enterprise software for complete AV resource monitoring, management, and control over a computer network. The MediaLink Plus family of controllers supports popular Web browsers and the Extron Control App.

Remote volume control port for Extron MPA Series and select XTRA™ Series amplifiers
Volume control knob with LEDs for visual feedback - Control the volume of a device with RS-232, Ethernet, or IR; or remotely control the volume of Extron MPA and select XTRA™ Series amplifiers via the remote volume control port.
One digital input - Allows for a connection with a variety of devices, such as sensors, switches, and relays.
Customisable backlit buttons - Buttons can be configured for input source switching, video mute, auto image, and other system functions.
Power over Ethernet allows the controller to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a local power supply

Extensive library of enhanced Extron Certified device drivers - Device drivers allow Extron products to control various display and source devices, such as projectors, flat-panel displays, and DVD players. Extron has produced fully tested Ethernet, serial, and IR device drivers.
